Checking In On Dunder Mifflin

My friend Amber sent me a Support The Rabid bracelet in the mail. I am already rocking it hard.

Don't remember this amazing Office moment? Meredith almost got rabies so Michael held the inagural "Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run For The Cure." Livestrong-style bracelets accompanied bright blue race t-shirts. It was a great episode, and an even better sales pitch. (In your face, but a good pitch nonetheless.)

I plan on wearing the bracelet everywhere I can. My current debate is whether or not to explain the TV significance everytime someone asks or just to pretend I am truly supporting people with rabies.

And in other Office news,

  • NBC ordered an unheard of 30 episodes of the show for next season.
  • Rashida Jones (aka Karen) is long gone from The Office but she's kept busy. She's the female lead on Fox's new comedy Unhitched and she's coming out with an earth friendly clothing line called Laloo. You go Gaia!
  • New episodes return April 10. Mark your calendars.

I think you should pretend that you support rabies. Get really into it. And then later send them a link to the nbc.com page where they can watch that episode. Then wait for the fallout.
