To mark the 20th season premiere of The Simpson's, National Geographic sat down with daughter, musician and passionate environmentalist Lisa to talk about going green, eco-tourism and recycling among other things.
You can find the entire interview online, but here's a snippet:
Since nuclear power has low carbon emissions, do you now respect Mr. Burns?
You know what has really low carbon emissions and releases no radiation? Wind power! Sorry I lost my cool... you know what else is losing its cool? THE EARTH!
You tell 'em sister!

Couch Gag Collage
Like The Simpsons? Get a load of this clip of every single couch gag ever. Ever. All 418 episodes. The best part is that you can pick out certain episodes by their gag.
You can say the show's gone downhill. You can say it's no longer funny or relevant. You can say all of those things...but you'd be wrong.

The Simpsons Aren't Welcome In Venezuela
The President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, ordered the The Simpsons off the airwaves. Apparently Chavez and the rest of the government heavies doesn't think the show is appropriate, especially at its 11 AM timeslot.
The best news of all? Venezuela's National Telecommunications Commission selected Baywatch to fill the void left by America's favorite four-fingered yellow family. Apparently the show is more kid friendly/educational than The Simpsons.
They've obviously never seen the episode where Lisa goes to Washington.
